Become a Restorative Peer Facilitator
This is an opportunity for students to learn more about restorative justice, engage in restorative practices on campus, support community building, and help repair harm through facilitated dialogue. You'll receive a foundational training in restorative practices, consistently engage with trained peers, and explore ways to further expand RJ at Rutgers.

We are currently accepting applications for this academic year (fall 2026 & spring 2027). We are looking for 10 students: 5 undergraduate and 5 graduate. If you're interested, please fill out the application here.
Restorative Justice Principles and Practice Byrne Seminar Course
This is an educational opportunity for first year students to learn more about restorative justice and interact with trained RJ facilitators. This course focuses on the fundamental principles and practices of restorative justice, explores the needs and roles of key stakeholders (impacted parties, responsible parties, communities, and justice systems), and introduces some of the primary models of practice at Rutgers and beyond.
